Brandeis Zoom Webinar Request
Media Technology Services offers the Zoom webinar platform to the Brandeis community for hosting online events and presentations. A webinar allows a host and a group of panelists to present a webinar to up to 500 viewers. Webinars are intended for large audiences where attendee participation is limited to chat and text-based Q&A.

Zoom offers an integrated live captioning feature to provide automatically generated captions at no additional cost.

about Zoom's live automatic transcription feature. When using automatic captions, please consider the following factors:
Accuracy of automatic captions are dependent on clear audio and can be affected by background noise, as well as a speaker’s accent or clarity.
Captions can be edited using the caption editing tools in the Brandeis media hosting platforms (Echo360 and Kaltura).
High-profile public events may require human generated captions for ADA compliance.
