Theater Request Informational
The Carl J. Shapiro Theater, located in the Shapiro Campus Center, is one of the most popular spaces on the Brandeis campus. The 248-seat auditorium offers a wonderful arena for lectures, concerts, theatrical productions, and much more.
The following items can be provided for your event:
Basic staff support as needed during the event.
Technical equipment including basic lighting, handheld/lavalier microphones, a projector (with power point capabilities), and a VCR/DVD (A/V equipment as needed),
Event planning meetings and pre-show walk-through of the theater.
Staff set-up for your event.
Use of the green room, scene shop, and theater during scheduled event.
Any additional accommodations needed for an event that expands the scope of services provided in this form will need to be requested through Conference & Events – Media Technology Services.

A Theater Assistant will be present to operate any lighting, sound, and audio concerns. However, please note that you are responsible for personnel to help with all other needs (ushers, program distribution, etc.)
Depending on the sponsoring organization and needs of the program, certain rental and associated fees may apply (i.e. building materials, additional rental equipment, paint, etc.). Please include, with this form, as complete a schedule as possible with regards to rehearsals and needs for the associated spaces as checked above.
