    About the Club
    Sharsheret at Brandeis is a student-run organization, founded in 2016, that exists to fulfill the mission statement provided by the national Sharsheret Organization. The national mission statement is as follows: "Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting young Jewish women and their families facing breast cancer. Our mission is to offer a community of support to women, of all Jewish backgrounds, diagnosed with breast cancer or at increased genetic risk, by fostering culturally-relevant individualized connections with networks of peers, health professionals, and related resources.” Sharsheret at Brandeis is a chapter within Sharsheret on Campus. Sharsheret on Campus is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to educating students and supporting women by facilitating Sharsheret organization programming. Sharsheret at Brandeis is open to all members of the Brandeis Community and does not discriminate against its members on the basis of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, graduating class, age, nationality, or physical ability.
