    Sangha: Buddhist Meditation Club

    About the Club
The purpose of Sangha is to fulfill the demand for a non-denominational Buddhist-oriented club on campus. The club’s goal is to provide a venue through which community members can discuss Buddhist philosophy, engage in varying meditation practices, and be part of a caring sangha (spiritual community). By group meditation practice and meaningful discussion, the club hopes to strengthen their understanding of Buddhist thought and practice as well as creating a sense of a non-denominational Buddhist community on campus. Sangha intends to achieve its purpose through weekly meetings and organizing a variety of fulfilling trips to Buddhist meditation centers, Walden Pond, dharma talks etc.
