    ECON 80A: Microeconomic Theory

    Prerequisites: ECON 2a or ECON 10a. Students must earn C- or higher in MATH 10a, or otherwise satisfy the calculus requirement, to enroll in this course.
    Course Description: In this course, we explore individuals' and institutions' economic decision-making processes within a political and legal framework that upholds private property rights and utilizes market mechanisms for resource allocation. The course includes studying key microeconomic theory applications in areas such as taxation, social policies, and public policy. This intermediate-level course is designed to provide you with the analytical tools necessary for more advanced economics courses.
