    Course Description: The goal of ENG 79A BEGINNING SCREENPLAY is to familiarize students with the screenwriting process. Whether you want to write a micro-budget indie or a Hollywood blockbuster, this course provides the essential tools you’ll need. Learn the fundamentals – structure, story arc, character development – and develop a comprehensive outline and the first act of your feature screenplay. You’ll also watch and discuss recent movies. Join us for a creative, low-pressure course over five weeks, and you’ll never look at a movie the same way again!
