Course Description: <b>Topic for Summer 2023: Millennials in Latin American Film</b></br></br>"Youth Culture" is a challenging concept that attempts to capture the many elusive ways adolescents and young adults live. Latin American youth is characterized by high levels of heterogeneity and inequality, expressed through diverse conditions, visions, and practices. These differences and inequalities are related to historical processes. Therefore, it is preferable to refer to multiple youths. In this course, we will examine the material traces left by the experiences of young individuals in art, fashion, politics, and the media, including social networks, at the intersection of specific coordinates: Latin America/1980-2023.
