    Course Description: International events always have many dimensions and involve political, cultural, and economic aspects. Some are rooted in ambitions of particular countries; others emerge from truly global problems. This class gives students a multidisciplinary approach to understand the origins and character of the modern world and several of the issues that transcend disciplinary and national boundaries.
