    THA 11B: European Theater Texts and Theory II

    Course Description: A continuation of THA 11a (European Theatre History I), this is an interdisciplinary course exploring the plays, theories, and historical contexts of theatrical production from the 19th Century through the present day. Special attention will be paid to the aesthetic and intellectual influence of historical theatre on production practices of the present moment. Students will engage with material through journals and other projects designed to elicit creative responses.
