    ECON 83A: Statistics for Economic Analysis

    Prerequisites: ECON 2a or 10a. Students must earn a C- or higher in MATH 10a, or otherwise satisfy the calculus requirement, to enroll in this course.
    Course Description: A first course in statistical inference. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, normal and binomial distributions, sampling distributions, point and interval estimation, properties of estimators, hypothesis testing, regression, and analysis of variance. <br><br><b>This Economics course has prerequisites and requires a consent code to enroll in Sage.
