    ECON 20A: Introduction to Macroeconomics

    Prerequisites: ECON 2a with a B+ or higher or ECON 10a. May not be taken for credit by students concurrently with or after they have taken ECON 82b.
    Course Description: In this course, we will learn concepts about economic aggregates, including national income, consumption, investment, government spending, exports, imports, and international capital flows, and economy-wide variables, such as the interest rate, the exchange rate, the price level and inflation, and the unemployment rate. We will also examine the influence of fiscal and monetary policies on these aggregates and variables.
