    BUS TBA: Introduction to Digital and Social Media Marketing

    Course Description: </br>General Class Description: This course helps students gain a foundation in digital and social media marketing principles by introducing fundamental tools and frameworks commonly used to design and execute digital/social marketing programs. The focus of the course centers around various methods for defining target customers, understanding marketing objectives, developing digital strategies and execution tactics, and utilizing technology to successfully market products and services in a digital and social setting. We will explore current examples of digital and social campaigns, execution of ads, and various organizations' approach to media and content.
    Students do not need to have prior marketing experience, but the format of the course does require active participation of discussions and in-class exercises.</br></br>
