IGS 10A: Introduction to International and Global Studies

    Instructor: Chandler Rosenberger
    Prerequisites: None
Course Description: "Globalization" touches us more every day. In this we will discuss some of its paradoxes: that an interconnected world is still so full nationalist passions; that our cultures learn from each other yet remain proudly distinct; that a wealthier world is also more unequal. We trace colonial legacies, watch Bollywood films, and discuss trade tensions. We are asynchronous but always in touch through video posts and comments.
