    Instructor: Muna Guvenc
    Prerequisites: None
Course Description: This course explores major innovations and stylistic transformations in global architecture since World War II. Situating architectural production within its broader social, political, and cultural contexts, it examines how designers around the world have responded to modernity, globalization, technological change, and shifting power structures. Through key buildings, movements, and debates, the course traces the diverse and often contested positions that define contemporary architecture. Particular emphasis is placed on the dynamic relationship between architectural theory, critical discourse, and the creative possibilities of design and professional practice from the mid-twentieth century to the present.
