    BIOL 12B: Introductory Biology Lab I

    Prerequisites: BIOL 15b. Yields half-course credit. Biology majors should take BIOL 18b and BIOL 18a.
    Course Description: Biology 12b Is an introduction to biology lab for students who are not biology majors. It provides firsthand experience with modern molecular biology techniques and illustrates basic approaches to experimental design and problem solving in molecular and cellular biology including applications of biochemical techniques. Students also gain experience interpreting and presenting the results of their experiments.
