    Course Description: Covering a time period roughly between Ancient Greece and the 18th Century, this class analyzes theatre and theatrical practices through the history, culture, and social circumstances of the ancient and early modern world. We will read and watch plays, read criticism, and gain an understanding of what makes theatre a unique, interdisciplinary art form.
