Prerequisites: BIOL12b, BIOL 14a, and sophomore standing. Yields half-course credit. Does NOT meet requirements for the biology major. Biology majors should take BIOL 18b and BIOL 18a.

Course Description: Provides hands-on experience with a wide array of organisms and illustrates basic approaches to experiments techniques in genetics and molecular biology.
